Date & Time: 28 Apr 2010 - 12:00 - 13:00Location:  Level 7, Intergen House, 126 Lambton Quay, Wellington  NZKM invites you to attend a lunchtime event presented by Salman Iqbal (PhD student), Dr. Paul Toulson (Associate Prof.) and Dr. David Tweed (Senior lecturer) from the College of Business, Department of Management at Massey University. The discussion will be based on an article recently presented at a conference in Singapore on tacit knowledge sharing practises and organisational effectiveness. The sharing of tacit knowledge within an organisation has been shown to have a positive relationship with organisational effectiveness. The conceptual model presented by Salman and his PhD supervisors suggests that organisational culture through employees collaboration, multidisciplinary teamwork and management support are positively related to tacit knowledge sharing practices. Information technology supports knowledge sharing practises by integrating and applying knowledge which is already embedded in employees across organisation.Attendance for members is free and non members will be charged $10 at the door. Please RSVP to secretary@nzkm.net
